Mask Policy

We at Pinecone Pediatrics support and recommend that all our patients wear masks, especially when getting back to school this fall. Masks protect us as well as our classmates and all the teachers and staff who make school possible. As the CDC recommends, medical exemptions will only be given for patients who have neurological or intellectual disabilities that make masks overly challenging. Otherwise, all students two years of age and over should wear masks. Let’s all do our part to keep our community safe!

Pediatric After Hours Care CLOSED

After over 20 years of serving the community, Pediatrics After Hours Care is now closed and no longer available to patients. If you need to speak with a pediatrician after hours, please call our office at 775-737-4707 to be directed to our answering service to assist you. In the event you cannot reach our answering service after hours, you can reach them directly by calling 775-352-5075.

Due to the incredibly high number of COVID-19 testing inquiries at this time, the after-hours pediatricians will not be writing orders for COVID-19 testing, nor will they be accessing COVID-19 results. If you have a pending COVID-19 test, please quarantine at home and call our office during normal business hours. Thank you.
